Flexible Plywood Procurement Guide
Long Grain (8x4 ft / 2440x1220mm) flexes so that the 2440mm length wraps around a column, producing tall cylindrical shapes up to 8 feet high. Cross Grain (4x8 ft / 1220x2440mm) flexes across the 1220mm width, ideal for wide horizontal curves, arched ceilings, and low circular counters.
We utilize advanced Melamine and WBP (Water Boiled Proof) phenolic adhesives that do not soften or delaminate under continuous tropical atmospheric moisture. Once sealed with appropriate veneers, laminates, or polyurethane varnishes, our flexible panels maintain their radius and mechanical rigidity indefinitely.
For optimal results, we recommend cold-pressing thin decorative veneers or High-Pressure Laminates (HPL) onto the flexible plywood panel simultaneously while securing it to the curved former structure. Alternatively, contact adhesive can be applied once the base curvature has been structurally anchored.
A standard 40ft High Cube (40HQ) container holds approximately 16 to 18 wooden pallets (approx. 45 to 55 cubic meters depending on thickness and packing specification). We optimize pallet packing density to lower per-sheet ocean freight costs for overseas buyers.
